Streaming Film Library for Education
Swank K-12 Streaming is a convenient, controlled, and connected streaming platform that makes it easy for teachers to incorporate high-quality films into lesson plans. The library includes thousands of films for educational support, including the top feature films, documentaries and foreign titles.
Powered by Swank Motion Pictures, the content is curated specifically for educators based on the movies they need for lessons, and provides access both inside the classroom or for assignments outside of the classroom.
Films can be streamed in the classroom, and can also be assigned to students as homework. Swank provides teachers a copyright-compliant platform for streaming films. For more copyright information see Legal Academic Streaming.
How to Access Swank
You can access Swank by clicking on the Digital Campus icon in the Google Waffle, through Clever, or by the link in the district bookmarks folder. These links are available for teachers only and not students. Students are not able to browse the catalog or view any films that have not been shared with them.
Or use https://digitalcampus.swankmp.net/pths379322
How to Assign Films
Once you have logged in to Swank, identify the film to assign, click the Share button below the film, and select Copy Direct Link. This link may be shared with your students in Google Classroom. Do not use the URL in the top address bar to share with students, as it will not work for them.
