Newline Acts like a Projector
- Connect your computer with the USB Type C cord.
- Choose “Source” on Newline Screen.
- Click on “USB Type C.”
- Your computer will be mirrored on the Newline. Please note that if it is not you may have to change your display settings on your Chromebook.

Newline Acts like its own Computer
- Click the “login” button.
- *If your name is available, click on it and add your pin to sign in.
- *If your name is not available, click the Google Chrome button and sign in with your Google credentials.
*** Once logged in, your Newline will act as the computer. When you click, “Google Drive,” you will see all of your documents. You can also access the internet.

Circle at the bottom of the screen will bring you back to the home screen.
If you do not see a circle at the bottom of the screen — swipe up from the bottom to see it. - Triangle - Acts like the back button.
- Square: Allows you to move between open tabs.

- Cast your computer screen without wire connection.

- Click “Newline Cast,” on the home screen.
- Go to the website listed (DisplayNote).
- Either login as a teacher or provide the students with the code to get into the classroom.
Teacher has the ability to allow students to share their screen with the class.

Whiteboard
- Symbol on bottom left of the screen or click icon.
- Use the stylus provided to write on the board.
